Over the years we, at "The Dingo Pack-T", have heavily researched the pros and cons of de-sexing canines. Whilst there is a lot of controversy around this issue, we personally adhere to a philosophy of providing our dingoes with every opportunity to live a life that is as close as possible to that of a wild dingo, (without the exposure to the horrific 1080 poison of course), free from excessive human intervention, so that they can live long, happy and healthy lives!!!
There is no doubt in our minds that surgical spay and neuter procedures have the potential to cause harm, and reduce the vitality and life spans of our dingo babies.
....but the great thing is that there are easily accessible ways for us to prevent breeding, without the need for these costly and risky procedures... so long as you are switched on, and committed to the process!!!!
One great option we use for our un-neutered females, are heavy duty chastity knickers, hand-made by Barbara York (secretary of the WA Dingo Association Incorporated). Ayla is pictured wearing Barbara's fantastic knickers here. The knickers must of course be used in combination with close play monitoring, and limited contact between male dingoes (and dogs) and any female experiencing her heat cycle.
Please get in touch with us by using the contact form at the bottom of our home page, if you would like to learn more about safe and effective natural breeding prevention strategies.
You can purchase Barbara's wonderful hand-made and durable chastity knickers by contacting her through facebook....

We have made a PACK-t with the dingoes of this land to protect and uplift them, and we take every decision around feeding, health management and breeding prevention with our dingoes very seriously!! ...even if that means questioning the "status-quo" and industry fuelled propaganda, and acting from a place of love and genuine respect for our furry friends.
It is time for us to question our human-centred and fear driven approaches to managing the health of our companion animals, and open our minds to better understand how nature intended for all beings on this planet to exist in harmony and balance, according to a specific set of NATURAL laws!!
Love and blessings from,
The Dingo Pack-t xx
